Inside the ZGS Media Empire: Starting Small but Finishing Big!
It started when two recent immigrants to the United States decided to invest a few hundred dollars a piece in the Spanish language broadcasting business, still in its formative years two decades ago. Today ZGS communications, the brainchild of Ron Gordon and Eduardo Zavala, has become a media empire with a reach far beyond its home office in Arlington, Virginia. With ten television stations and three radio outlets in some of the largest Hispanic markets, ZGS has become the number one independent owner of Telemundo-affiliated stations in this country. We take you behind the scenes of this broadcasting giant and show you how a business started on a shoestring can grow exponentially with hard work and passion.
